Cannabis or Hemp: Which Should You Take?

Cannabis and hemp plants look remarkably similar, and cannabis and hemp plants both have the psychoactive tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) compound, but that’s where the similarities between the cannabis and hemp plants end.

Cannabis and hemp plants can both be used to make products such as paper, textiles, and fuel, but cannabis is used to make marijuana, while hemp is used to make a variety of products ranging from bags to rope to clothing. Hemp is still used for rope in many industries such as fishing, boating, and construction. These same seeds are also rich in Vitamin E, magnesium, B vitamins, zinc, and potassium. In addition, hemp seeds contain 20 amino acids that are necessary for human health. Combined, these nutrients make hemp seeds a great addition to a healthy diet.

Hemp is a species of cannabis sativa that is used to make a variety of products, including paper, clothes, food, plastic, and rope. But not all cannabis is hemp. Hemp and marijuana both come from the cannabis sativa species. Hemp and marijuana are both types of cannabis. The difference between the two is the THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) content. THC is the part of cannabis that makes you high. It’s what gives marijuana users their high. Hemp has very, very little THC, so it can’t make you high.
